They are so easy to use. Swipe, sign and BAM! You have your goods. Debt increases and next thing you know, you have a huge worry hanging over your head. I ended up switching the Bank of America card that I had with another and now I have the same card, but with more benefits. Not only is my interest rate lower, now I actually gain ponits or "World Points" just for using it. Granted you really shouldn't use it that much, but if you are in the market in buying a home or getting a car financed this is what you want to do. Owning my home, I re-financed recently and was told that I gained more credit from using my credit card than paying all my bills...ALL OF THEM, on time and owning my house. Basically get a credit card, but have the money to pay it off. It will help you in the long run and you will not regret it at all. It's nice just to be able to not have to worry about getting gas sometimes or a shirt in between paydays.
